Silica gels production

    Being one of the youngest productions of the plant it has been operated since 1984 .
Slica gels production is   an alliance of  progressive engineering ideas connected with process, mechanization and automation.
     Production capacity is 10200 t/ y. The main types of silica gels produced are of KSMG, ShSMG and KSKG grades.  They are widely used in petroleum and oil refining industries as an adsorbent-desiccant and hydrocarbon fractions separator.
    Slica gels are glassy, transparent or dull, oval or   spheric granules. They are produced in the result of interaction of sodium silicate solution with   sulphur acid solution, or with  aluminium sulphate acidulated solution.
    Being an active air drier, silica gel  prevents equipment and machinery from corrosion, lightens and dries oils and is a catalyst carrier.
